Tyroff (1771-1826)

Konrad Tyroff (1771-1826) was a heraldic, engraver and publisher. Tyroff was a member of a family of engravers working in Nuremberg. His father was Hermann Jakob Tyroff (1742-1798). His grandfather Martin Tyroff (1705-1758) was married to the Weigel'schen Kunsthandlung, later the Tyroff'schen. Kunstverlagshandlung, in which Konrad Tyroff published various coat of arms books. He was married to Margarethe Tyroff (1774-1836). At the time of his death, Tyroff was director of the coat of arms office and royal Bavarian court agent. In his work he was significantly supported by his brother, probably Ludwig Christof Tyroff ( 1774), who worked in Nuremberg around 1799.

Historical Description

For example, the Sámi in Scandinavia know eight seasons, Australian Aborigines in Arnhemland six seasons.In Russia, the rasputiza is known as the mud season, in each case during the melting of snow in spring and during the autumn rains.
