Historical Description | The story of Ried begins in the 12th century. In the tradition and donation book of the Reichersberg Abbey, Riedern can be read for the first time with Reginger and Wernhard de Riede in 1145. The Riede estate was first mentioned in 1150, and around 1180 the citizens of Riede were mentioned for the first time in a document, which suggests settlement activity. |
