Very beautiful hand-colored map shows the course of the Rhine from Düsseldorf via Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Mainz, Worms, Mannheim to Speyer. It also shows the Rhine-Lahn district with the towns of Nassau, Dietz, Limburg an der Lahn, Runkel, Villmar, Wetzlar, Gießen, Marburg etc. The Main with Rüsselsheim, Frankfurt, Hanau, Wertheim and the Moselle from Koblenz to Trier. At the bottom left a magnificent title cartouche with a water god, putti and four coats of arms of Trier, Mainz, Cologne and the Palatinate. | |
