Henry Fricx was an engraver, printer, and map publisher from Brussels in the early 18th century. He came from a well-known family of printers and took over the workshop of his father, Eugène Fricx. Around 1709, he worked as an official printer and cartographer for the Spanish Netherlands. Henry Fricx is best known for his maps and city plans, which are considered among the most important cartographic works of that time in the southern Netherlands. His work was characterized by accuracy and artistic design.
