Dorit Winzens-Bredernitz is a German painter, graphic artist, and illustrator. Immediately after finishing her studies in 1955, she began working as a graphic artist at the publishing house Der Tagesspiegel until 1960. In 1959, she married Hans Bredernitz, and in 1960, she moved to Munich. The birth of their two children in 1960 and 1961 led to a two-year artistic break. In 1962, she joined the Bundesverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler in Munich. Winzens-Bredernitz now lives as a freelance artist in Munich. | |
