Navellier & Marie were a French duo of wood engravers, renowned for their finely executed illustrations after drawings by the French painter and architect Hubert Clerget (1818–1899). Their work is particularly associated with L’Allemagne illustrée by Malte-Brun, published between 1885 and 1888, for which they produced numerous detailed engravings depicting cities, monuments, and architectural views throughout Germany. | |
