Title translation: "Information about dignitaries of both the Eastern and Western Roman Empires after the time of Arcadius and Honorius. And for this, G. Panciroli, I.V.D., the most famous and leading interpreter of the laws at the University of Padua, has written a commentary. The work is in three volumes in one book. The first part spans 271 pages and includes 2 pages of preface, 4 pages of index, 4 pages on the rights of the work, 3 pages of an index of citations from the authors, and a double-page map showing the Roman Empire. Several pages contain woodcuts, such as the Bosporus, Constantinople, two inhabitants from Macedonia and Dacia, many (about 13) badges of distinguished men, an illustration of Achaia (a region in Greece), pyramids, and many important buildings, the Taurus mountain range, the consul in Palestine, Arabic buildings, Syrian cities, and much more (about 25 pieces). The second part covers 196 pages and includes an 11-page index, with several pages of woodcuts: approximately 39 depict a Roman ruler, views of Rome, Roman weapons, the island of Britain, cities of Britain, city and building representations of the Roman Empire, one view of Italy, and 8 pages with badges of distinguished men. The third part consists of 39 pages with a 1-page index and 9 woodcuts showing weapons, knights on horseback with weapons in tow, etc. The index spans 4 pages. Additionally, there are many initial and concluding vignettes and small as well as large initials. Some pages are slightly stained. Corner missing in Part 1, 39 pages.
