Collage proposal with four original wood engravings. One ‘Pompes a postons plongueus actionnees par des machines a vapeur verticales’ hand-coloured, ‘On the way to Piccadilly’ hand-coloured. In black and white an advertising page of an illustrated newspaper from 1894 and a gaming table scene. Between 1860 - 1894, text mostly in German and once in French. Original wood engravings around 1880.

Historical Description

Magnificent collage with original wood engravings from the period around 1860-1890, partly in black and white or originally hand-colored. The collages are not permanently mounted and the original engravings are supplied unmounted. This means that they can still be put together and laid out individually, both in portrait and landscape format, the originals can be fixed on a cardboard, framed or unframed. The frameon the picture is for decorative purposes only and is not supplied.
