Map of the southern Hemisphere-the Southpole, in a polar projection showing Southamerica, the south part of Africa and the only partly known continent of Australia with New Zeeland. Indonesia with Java and Sumatra. On a n inset map Cap Circoncision. Also a detailed description in french and dutch language, describing the journey of both ships ( L´Aigle und La Marie vom 19. Juli 1738), exporing the Southpole.
